In my contractor-renovator experience I saw many solutions, how to stay on own feet when floor is wet.

I hallways you can often see area rugs. Aesthetic can be issue.
Slip prevention in showers and tubs is usually done by purchasing of some rubber mat or wooden grill.
They work well and they need regular maintenance, because they collect dirt, mold etc.
Not as many people know that there are specific Anti-Slip Treatments, which work very well on Slip-When-Wet surfaces. Application is easy, odourless and last 2-3 years (depends on traffic).

Treatments work on a variety of surfaces, such as:
- natural unsealed mineral floors,
- ceramic, porcelain, quarry tile, granite, mosaic tile, slate, terrazzo,
- enamel tubs,
- concrete etc.
Great for showers, bathrooms, saunas, pools, hallways.
